Internship in Electrical Engineering Design for Friction Welding / Magnetarc Welding Machines

This internship position is with the KUKA Group, based in Augsburg, and focuses on the electrical engineering design of friction welding and magnetic arc welding machines. The intern will assist with the electrical design of machines and equipment, participate in component selection, and help prepare circuit diagrams, bills of materials, and technical documentation. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and managing material master data, macros, and libraries in EPLAN, assisting with control cabinet planning and documentation organization, and participating in the standardization of design guidelines and templates. Candidates should be students currently enrolled in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a related field, possess good German and English language skills, and ideally have foundational knowledge of electrical design, EPLAN, or similar CAD/CAE tools.
