European Legal Counsel
Hiring in Amsterdam, salary negotiable. This position is part of the European Legal Team at the European Regional Headquarters, providing pragmatic legal support for the European distributor business and the Benelux sales company operations. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts such as distribution, service, procurement, after-sales, and marketing agreements, as well as participating in contract negotiations. The role also involves supporting short-term legal projects, providing legal coverage in the absence of subsidiary legal counsel, and handling dispute resolution and risk management related to distributors and suppliers. Additionally, the role is responsible for planning and refining the European regulatory monitoring mechanism, guiding junior legal counsel in daily monitoring tasks, and driving the optimization of contract templates and legal processes. Requirements include a bachelor's degree or higher in Dutch or Belgian law.
