CSD Export - Booking
Job opening in Hamburg, salary negotiable. This position is part of the Export Booking Team within the Hamburg Customer Service Department, responsible for handling export booking operations, excluding VIP clients. Responsibilities include entering, maintaining, and managing bookings in the shipping line's proprietary system, verifying and adhering to existing freight agreements, and checking empty container availability to organize releases. You will also handle bookings for dangerous goods and other special cargo, respond to customer inquiries regarding sailing schedules, transit times, and closing dates, and verify regulatory compliance for the import of specific products. Additionally, you will coordinate and review vessel space requirements, issue invoices for booking cancellation fees, and handle COD and return shipments. Requirements include completion of commercial training, preferably with a background in shipping business, and proficiency in modern software and MS Office.
